Prestige Yachts will debut its 680 S at the Cannes Yachting Festival in September. This new model in the builder’s Yachts division fills the gap between the Prestige 630 and 750.
The yacht has dramatically raked windows forward and the flybridge follows suit, giving her aggressive lines. Her flybridge is positioned amidships, allowing for an electric sunroof just forward of it over the salon and main-deck helm. This setup, says Prestige, makes the 680 S part flybridge and part coupe, offering the benefits of both design styles. She has a U-shaped salon aft up top and dual helm seats are on centerline forward. Another companion seat is to the right of the helm.
Belowdecks, there are two accommodations setups: One offers three guest staterooms and a crew cabin with head all the way aft. The second one has four staterooms with a crew cabin. The master is located forward on the main deck.
Power for the Prestige 680 S is twin 900 hp Volvo Penta IPS1200s. The builder reports the yacht’s cruising speed is 25 knots, with a 30-knot top-end. Fuel burn at cruising speed is reportedly 66 gallons per hour, offering a 300-nautical-mile range on 911 gallons of fuel.
Stay tuned to Yachting for a future review on the Prestige 680 S.
