Allied Marine has Dokinha V, a Custom Line 108, listed for sale with an asking price of $7.5 million. The 2016 build is the fifth hull in a limited run of Raised Pilot House Motor Yachts produced by Custom Line. It has a five-stateroom, six-head layout, and is notable for its multiple alfresco dining and entertainment spaces.

Stepping onto Dokinha V’s teak swim platform, the yacht’s transom door lifts to reveal a Williams Dieseljet yacht tender as well as PWC stowage. Walking up the teak steps to the cockpit, there is bench seating set against the transom with a folding table and loose chairs creating shaded alfresco dining for up to 10 guests.

Integral stairs to starboard lead from the cockpit up to the 108-footer’s flybridge, which has three lounge chairs and a Whirlpool spa aft for fun in the sun. An L-shaped sofa to port sits back-to-back with a forward U-shaped sofa, which has a folding table for another shaded alfresco dining space. The helm station with bench-style seat is forward and to port while there is a docking station to starboard. A two-seat wet bar and a grill are also located to starboard. A retractable sunroof in the hardtop allows the captain to control the volume of sunlight.

This Custom Line 108 has a second and all-weather second helm station located in the raised pilot house, which is accessible from the flybridge via a sliding door and a staircase on centerline.

When it’s time to enjoy sundowners at sunset or mimosas in the morning, guests can transit the Custom Line 108’s wide side decks to the foredeck where a four-person sun pad is abaft two L-shaped settees with tables.

In addition to an entertainment-centric exterior layout, the Custom Line108’s interior follows suit. Salon seating includes a loveseat and an L-shaped sofa to port positioned across from a 65-inch flat-screen TV. To starboard, double sliding glass doors lead to a hydraulic fold-out terrace, creating a perfect spot to take in a sunrise or open it for warm and welcome cross breezes in the salon and dining area.

Cabinets forward separate the salon and the formal dining space, where there is a 10-person glass-top table. The galley is forward from the dining space and can be closed off from the salon when entertaining via a pocket door. The galley has enough Quartz-resin countertop space for chef and crew to prepare meals together. The galley has a side-by-side refrigerator and freezer with an ice maker, cabinets with shelves and drawers to stow provisions, a ceramic electric four-plus-one ring cooktop with pan holders, a dishwasher, an electric oven, a Siemens microwave oven, Mini Hi-Fi system CD with tuner, overhead cupboards with shelves, two stainless-steel sinks and Venetian blinds. There is also side-deck access to port for easy servicing.

Sleeping accommodations include a full-beam, on-deck master stateroom with a king berth, 55-inch flat-screen TV, bookshelves, stowage, a desk, a digital safe and an en suite head with marble sole. The four guest staterooms are belowdecks. There are two VIP staterooms aft, both of which have double berths, 48-inch flat-screen TVs, stowage and en suite heads. Forward, are the two guest staterooms with one to port and one to starboard. Both have twin berths, 32-inch flat-screen TVs and en suite heads. There are three cabins for crew.

Twin 1,690 hp MTU 16V2000 M94 diesels provide power for the Custom Line 108, giving Dokinha V a reported cruising speed of 20-plus knots.

Other notable features on board include Seakeeper gyros, a three-cabin crew quarters, a washer and dryer combo, a wine cooler, two VHF transceivers, a Furuno AIS system, FLIR Night vision, two VHF antennas, three GPS antennas, EPIRB, two 50 kW gensets to port and starboard with soundshields and 3,710 hours and 3,659 hours, respectively.

From the Yachting Archive: Custom Line 108 Ferretti Yacht Review

“When I first saw the Custom Line 108 Ferretti yacht resting along the quay in Cannes, France, I was struck by her shadow-inducing size juxtaposed with what was a relatively low profile, enhanced by glass. Lots of it. Glass is used extensively on the Custom Line 108 to help connect those on board the yacht with the salt of the ocean.” – Yachting, April 2016

Where is Dokinha V located? The yacht is currently lying in Aventura, Florida.

Custom Line, an Italian shipyard that’s part of the Ferretti Group, squeezed in three more launches as 2023 drew to a close, bringing the yard’s total number of yacht launches for last year to 21.

The first of the three yachts to hit the water before the calendar turned to the new year is Nimir, which is Hull No. 11 of the Custom Line Navetta 42. Length overall is 137 feet, 2 inches, with a beam of 26 feet, 7 inches.

Ferretti Group’s Engineering Department developed the project, with interior design by Custom Line Atelier. The yacht’s color palette includes what Custom Line calls subtle milk white and sand, along with elegant shades of gray. Various types of marble used in the décor include bianca gioia, travertino titanio and Carrara, with an aim of creating a regal, yet refined style.

Also launched toward the end of the year, on December 5, is Hull No. 20 of the Custom Line 106. This is a planing yacht with a length overall of 107 feet, 8 inches, and a beam of 24 feet, 3 inches.

On this yacht, the Ferretti Group Engineering Department worked with Francesco Paszkowski Design on interior and exterior styling. Custom Line Atelier handled interior design. Custom Line says the interiors on this yacht include woodwork that’s silky gray, paired with a combination of neutral whites and pearls, and vivid bronze and anthracite. Nubuck leather is among the décor’s materials, which also include statuario extra marble and polished arabescato orobico marble.

Last but not least, the third launch to squeeze in before the new year is Hull No. 30 of the Custom Line Navetta 33, christened Pufferfish.

Custom Line 106

This yacht is a collaboration among the Ferretti Group’s Strategic Product Committee for exterior styling and Engineering Department on interiors, in consultation with Custom Line Atelier. At 108 feet, 3 inches long and 24 feet, 8 inches wide, Pufferfish has interiors that combine silky grays with pinks, blues and oranges in the décor and furnishings—which were custom made. Marble includes calacatta oro.

Custom Line takes great pride in describing all these yachts as representative of Made In Italy quality and style.

What other yacht brands are part of the Ferretti Group? The group includes Ferretti Yachts, Wally, Pershing, Itama, Riva, CRNand Custom Line. Some brands focus on building composite yachts, while others specialize in custom builds and superyachts.

The Ferretti Group’s Custom Line shipyard has unveiled details about the Navetta 38, with construction already underway and on track for a delivery date in 2024.

Exteriors on the Custom Line Navetta 38 are by Filippo Salvetti, with interiors by ACPV Architects.

According to the Custom Line team, the Navetta 38 will have a master stateroom that spans about 430 square feet, along with completely separate guest and crew quarters to maximize everyone’s privacy on board.

Custom Line is also promising “a completely new take on the full-beam beach deck concept,” with the beach club and the cockpit of the main deck combining into a space of more than 750 square feet. The idea is to incorporate freestanding modular units that give the space multifunctional options at the water’s edge. Two gunwales will open to enhance the space even further.

What’s up top on the Custom Line Navetta 38? A sundeck that has about 750 square feet of guest relaxation space, including a hot tub and open-air dining.

Custom Line 140 Reviewed https://www.yachtingmagazine.com/yachts/experience-custom-line-140/ Fri, 07 Jul 2023 19:30:00 +0000 https://www.yachtingmagazine.com/?p=60527 Custom Line's flagship 140 marries an impressive aesthetic with a surprisingly spacious interior.

Custom Line 140

Sporty is not an obvious adjective for a tri-deck packing nearly 400 gross tons, but it fits the new Custom Line 140 flagship and its previously launched sisterships, the CL120 and CL106. All three models are composite, have bold styling and share key design cues. The exteriors and space planning are the work of Francesco Paszkowski, while the interior decoration is by Margherita Casprini, working closely with the Ferretti Group’s in-house team at Custom Line Atelier.

The yacht they created is a triumph. Beyond the Custom Line 140’s super-cool lines, there’s 3,230 square feet of usable space inside and 2,150 square feet of real estate outside. A fold-down garage door allows for a beach club, a conventional cockpit and an extra-large space on the upper deck aft, with the guest spaces having full protection from decks above. There’s more seating forward and on the sun deck, which is partially protected by a carbon-fiber hardtop and which has a wet bar, a lounge and a hot tub. And the sun deck is a 750-square-foot blank canvas for owners, in terms of furniture to dress the space.

Custom Line 140 top
There is about 2,150 square feet of alfresco real estate on board the Custom Line 140. Courtesy Custom Line

Inside, the Custom Line 140 is calm, light and bright, thanks to a plethora of glazing. Stained- and bleached-oak veneers play off dramatic marbles throughout the yacht, whose furnishings have natural tones and textures. The main salon and dining area are open plan and measure around 450 square feet. Owners can choose free-standing furniture as they see fit here too. The Custom Line 140 that I got aboard mostly had pieces from Minotti. Also an option for owners: an opening glass door to starboard in the main-deck lounge and opening glass doors on both sides of the sky lounge. In the sky lounge, these doors transform the space into an entertainment zone for parties.

On the main and upper decks, guest lobbies are amidships to starboard. Partial side decks are on the main deck, with doors amidships to the portside pantry and adjacent lobby. There are full side decks on the upper deck, although there’s a stair break just abaft the bridge, which means you can’t quite circumnavigate it.

Custom Line 140 interior
Floating stairs, fold-out balconies and three decks of glass help create the 140’s seemingly borderless interior. Courtesy Custom Line

Guest accommodations consist of five en suite staterooms and a total of 11 berths. The owners’ stateroom is forward on the main deck and occupies 505 square feet. Owners enter to starboard through a dressing area with two walk-in closets. The en suite has double-door access, a bathtub and a shower, or owners can opt for a walk-through shower stall between the his-and-hers sides. The big feature in the bedroom is an optional fold-down balcony, cleverly engineered to be deployed by guests as well as crew (of course, with safety overrides).

The other guest staterooms are belowdecks, all conventionally located amidships. The two aft are mirror copies: 160-square-foot doubles with outboard-view king berths and en suite heads. The other two staterooms, forward, are 130 square feet apiece, one with an inboard-facing double berth and the other with forward-facing twins and a Pullman berth. However, as the name Custom Line suggests, owners have flexibility when it comes to interiors. For instance, some owners may prefer to specify one of the staterooms on that lower deck as a gym, a study or a media room.

Custom Line 140 stateroom

Day heads are off the main- and upper-deck lobbies. For the Custom Line 140’s crew of seven, there’s a captain’s cabin on the bridge deck and three cabins forward on the lower deck, along with a crew mess and a laundry room. All the crew areas are connected by a separate crew staircase for discreet access across all decks, including to the main deck’s galley and pantry, and to the upper-deck pantry. The pantries are also linked with a dumbwaiter. It is unusual to see this sort of guest-crew separation aboard what is, effectively, a production yacht.

There are two garages aboard the Custom Line 140. The main one, at the stern, has a door to port and can take a 20-foot tender or a 17-foot tender and a PWC. The other garage is under a lid forward of the windscreen with room for a smaller tender or a PWC. The first Custom Line 140 keeps a rescue boat there.

With its twin 2,638 mhp MTU 16V 2000 M96Ls and straight-shaft propulsion, this yacht is reportedly good for a top speed of 21 to 22 knots and a fast cruise of 17 knots, with a range of around 700 nautical miles, allowing for a 10 percent reserve. At an eco-cruise of around 12 knots and 1,400 rpm, that range would extend to around 1,500 nm. There are no alternative engines available. The hull has a planing profile and is trimmed with Humphree Interceptors.

The first Custom Line 140 is expected to remain in the Mediterranean this summer. Two more have been sold, and one of them should arrive in the United States this year. If the current sales pace continues, the future for this sporty-looking yacht is bright.

In the Details

Fabricated in aluminum, the Custom Line 140 is defined by silver-painted hexagonal-section Y-stanchions and chunky handrails along the main side decks. These elements allow light into the main salon via full-height picture windows, and they also allow for great views out for the guests.

In the Beginning

At the 1996 Genoa International Boat Show, Ferretti was a one-brand business, known mostly for building flybridge yachts. The company announced that it was developing a second brand, Custom Line, that would kick in where the Ferretti flybridge and raised-pilothouse portfolio ended. Back then, the biggest Ferretti  measured 80 feet length overall. The first Custom Line 94 launched in 1998, setting the Ferretti Group on a path of becoming the multi-brand builder it is today, not only with Custom Line but also with Pershing, CRN, Riva, Itama, Bertram and Wally.

Serious Growth

In terms of dollar volume, Custom Line is the Ferretti Group’s biggest brand. Last year, it delivered more than 20 yachts that averaged around 115 feet length overall. Around 300 Custom Lines have been delivered to date. Custom Line models range from 93 feet to 164 feet. They include the three sporty 106, 120 and 140 CL models, along with five semi-displacement Navetta models: the 30, 33, 37, 42 and 50. The Navetta 50— the first aluminum model in the series—will debut in 2024.

Custom Line yachts
Custom Line, part of Italy’s Ferretti Group, has a range of models. The largest is the 164-foot Navetta 50. Ferretti Group

Superyacht buyers customarily are experienced boaters, stepping up from something they operate and manage themselves. It typically holds true whether the yacht they’re buying is 90 feet or well into triple-digit territory.

Custom Line, whose semicustom models start at 93 feet, certainly attracts clients who consider superyacht ownership an evolution of their boating life. In fact, among its eight models, six are beneath the 140-foot threshold. However, something else is remarkable about its clientele.

“Forty percent of the boats we sell every year are sold to people who have never had boats before,” says Stefano De Vivo, chief commercial officer of Custom Line’s parent company, Ferretti Group.

It’s a notable achievement for a brand that was inaugurated in 1996 to broaden Ferretti Yachts’ composite offerings. Initially, the name was Ferretti Custom Line, eventually shortened to establish a separate identity: accommodating yachting enthusiasts whose exacting wish lists exceed what production construction permits. So, even though Custom Line’s experienced and inexperienced clients might seem like pretty disparate crowds, the common thread is, as the saying goes, they want what they want.

The first Custom Line launch complemented Ferretti Yachts’ focus on semidisplacement flybridge yachts. The sporty-looking Custom Line 94, with accommodations for eight and speed in the mid-20-knot range, premiered in 1998. That year, a 102-foot, more shippy-looking yacht bearing the Navetta moniker debuted prioritizing more-traditional long-range cruising. This was the beginning of Custom Line’s “one fleet, two personalities” approach: providing buyers with Planing and Navetta projects to suit different ways of living on the water.

It truly is living for some customers, De Vivo says. “It’s their island, as we say, their private island, because they’re using it a lot more. And they’re using it, at times, even more than their houses or their villas around the world.”

portraits of boat designers
Patricia Viel and Antonio Cittario (left and middle) did the interiors, with exteriors by Filippo Salvetti (right). ACPV Architects and Ferretti Group

In fact, he adds, Custom Line has more than one client who has spent more time on board their yacht than on land properties during the past two years. “At that point, you know they’re not willing to take an off-the-shelf solution or to compromise,” De Vivo says, “because in the end, you’re not using it anymore for only two weeks. You’re using it maybe for 60 nights, and therefore, you want it perfect for you.”

Custom Line and its design partners, including Zuccon International Project and Francesco Paszkowski, pay close attention to where customers prefer to cruise and how they spend time on board. Where Americans are concerned, De Vivo says, the Planing and Navetta lines both are strong sellers, with the Navettas appealing to cruisers who like to spend time in South Florida, winter in the Caribbean, and then head north for the summer. Regardless of model, “we are very careful with draft so that they can be used everywhere in the Caribbean and in the Bahamas,” he says.

As for creature comforts, Custom Line is incorporating features such as country kitchens and bars that double as country kitchens. “We didn’t invent anything new,” he says. “We just looked at the bestsellers in the American market. And our clients are telling us that we went the right way.”

Navetta 50 master stateroom

With more than 250 deliveries globally, the builder hopes to continue its success with its newest Planing model, the Custom Line 140. This voluminous, sporty cruiser has five staterooms and tops out at around 22 knots.

“We saw that in the market among European companies, no one was investing in this kind of size: 400 gross tons in fiberglass and carbon fiber,” De Vivo says. “And we thought that it was a big mistake.” The 140 is also Selective Catalytic Reduction-ready to meet the International Maritime Organization emissions regulations coming into effect. Hull No. 1 is sold and in the water.

Also in build—with far more customization and a major change in materials—is Hull No. 1 of the Navetta 50. This 164-footer is the first Custom Line in metal, specifically aluminum.

De Vivo says that while sister brand CRN builds fully custom steel and aluminum superyachts, some buyers don’t want a completely custom project because of the decisions and expense a custom build requires. Custom Line’s management team realized that competitors were engineering either steel and aluminum, or entirely aluminum semicustom craft in this size range to target those buyers.

Navetta 50 private terrace with seating
The master stateroom opens onto a private terrace with seating, cocktail tables and sun pads for owners and their chosen guests. ACPV Architects

“So we said, ‘You know, we have the experience of CRN. …Why don’t we engineer and design a 50-meter?’” he recalls. “And then we said, ‘Why don’t we use Custom Line?’”

The next step was following the latest builds from CRN, all of which have a master stateroom on the upper deck facing forward. That was easier said than done, De Vivo adds, considering the CRNs are up to 262 feet long.

However, with input from designer Filippo Salvetti, the Navetta 50 has this type of stateroom—with full-height sliding-glass doors leading to a private foredeck terrace. Look for the yacht to debut in 2024.

And De Vivo says the Planing series has room to grow. “We might have something maybe in aluminum around 165 feet,” he hints. “When you have clients who buy the 140, they might want to grow, and it’s still within the keys and strings of the brand. I cannot say too much more.”

Though he does add, “When you have a brand that is so successful like Custom Line, why stop with two lines?”

50 and Fabulous

The recently announced Custom Line Navetta 50 is the builder’s largest model to date. It’s not big for the sake of being big, however. At nearly 164 feet length overall, the yacht has four decks, where the usable space is akin to that aboard a superyacht 50 feet longer.

Bring Friends

Custom Line’s newly launched flagship 140 model has space on board for 22 people, according to the builder. The 28-foot beam means gathering spaces throughout the yacht are big enough that nobody should feel crowded.

Open Thinking

Note the way the design includes not just cut-down bulwarks, but also open-style handrails in spaces where there is sole-to-ceiling glazing. This design creates even broader views of the outdoors.

Come On Over

There are 14 mooring spaces at the Custom Line private marina for yachts from 78 to 328 feet long. There also are five docks for fitting-out, finishing and refit projects.

A True Family Home

During the past decade, Ferretti Group’s De Vivo has seen an increasing number of owners who buy yachts purposely to spend more time with multiple generations of relatives. “I think it’s one of the great successes that people have finally started using it as a true family home,” he says.

Customer Feedback

Owners sometimes invite the team on cruises to share their experience and suggest ideas. “With every single suggestion you get, there is something that you can take out of it and see if you can put it into a project, and then make it viable or appealing for everybody,” De Vivo says.

Sales broker Bruce Schattenburg at Denison Yachting says the 108-foot Custom Line Navetta 33 Gioia has had a location change. The yacht can now be viewed in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. The asking price is $11,995,000.

Gioia is a 2018 build that had service work and upgrades done in summer 2022 in Italy by many contractors who were part of the yacht’s original build.

Accommodations include a main-deck master stateroom, four double-berth staterooms belowdecks and four crew cabins. Amenities include a flybridge hot tub, an entertainment space in the bow and a tender garage that converts to a beach club.

The 1,622 hp Caterpillar C32 engines are upgraded with extended warranties, and the yacht has zero-speed fin stabilizers along with a pair of Seakeepers.

What’s the beam on Gioia? It’s 24 feet, 8 inches, giving the yacht a volume that Denison Yachting says is comparable to what yachtsmen find aboard 120- and 130-footers.

Is there any more relaxing place than at anchor in a favorite quiet anchorage, with the engines powered down and the chilled beverages served up?

It can be easy, in those moments of bliss, to forget about all the design, engineering and craftsmanship that go into making every onboard detail perfect. Getting an eye on all of those fineries is, instead, what boat-show season is all about: a chance to poke and prod every nook and cranny on new model after new model until you find just the right one for enjoying your go-to harbor.

In this article, we take a look at some of the boats expected to be on the docks at boat shows this autumn. We’re thrilled to report that the designers, engineers and craftsmen have been hard at work coming up with even more ways for all of us to enjoy the best of the boating lifestyle.

wallypower58: Stylish Evolution

Whereas most of the yachts in the wallypower line have taken their styling cues from the wallytender, the wallypower58 draws its inspiration from the wallypower118 that launched back in 2003. “At Wally, we often say that our yachts are 20 years ahead of their time, and, in this case, that’s very much the reality,” Stefano de Vivo, Wally’s managing director, said in announcing the new model. Key features include overnight accommodations for our people; folding bulwarks that expand the onboard space by about 270 square feet; and the option of adding a crew berth, say, if the wallypower58 is going to be used as a chase boat for a superyacht. A hydraulic swim platform is another option; guests can use it as a submerged teak beach.

Benetti B.Yond 37M: A Return to Steel

Benetti Yachts in Italy launched Hull No. 1 of the B.Yond 37M in July. The 121-foot hull is built in steel instead of the more common fiberglass, and it has an E-Mode Hybrid system by Siemens Energy to reduce emissions. The yacht can switch from mechanical to electric propulsion and back again, giving owners four operating modes. In full electric mode, Benetti says, the yacht has zero emissions; in Eco Transfer mode, range is 8,200 nautical miles at 9 knots. For accommodations, owners can choose to locate the master stateroom on the main or bridge deck. Overall, there are options allowing for as many as seven guest staterooms, depending on whether owners want certain gymnasium or crew spaces on board.

Canados Gladiator 571 Blade: 50-plus knots

The Gladiator line from Canados includes seven models from 41 to 96 feet length overall. The Gladiator 571 Blade takes its design cues from the Gladiator 493—one of the builder’s bestselling models—with features such as a central steering position, built-in foredeck lounge pads, and oversize sun pads fore and aft. The design firm Saturia Studio in Rome also added new features, including a reversed sofa at the swim platform for watersports fans, side lockers for fenders in the cockpit, and a larger tender garage. Inboard- and outboard-power versions of the Gladiator 571 Blade are available, with the base-model 725 hp Volvo Penta D11s providing a reported 36-knot top hop. Optional powerplants increase that speed well above 50 knots.

Maiora 30 Eden: A Sizable Flybridge

The latest hull of the Maiora 30 has been christened Eden. It’s a walkaround version of the vessel, with a flybridge that has almost 1,300 square feet of space without any steps or stairs to interrupt the flow of guests. This Maiora 30 is also the first to be fitted with a custom teak-and-glass hot tub that has room for five adults, with infinity-style views all around. Another notable guest space is at the stern, where what the builder calls a terrace connects to the salon for indoor-outdoor entertaining. Tender stowage is forward, with a garage that can hold a tender more than 19 feet long. Maximum speed, according to the builder, is 23 knots, with stabilizers that operate both underway and at anchor for comfort during long-distance cruising itineraries.

Ferretti Yachts 860: Features Galore

The Ferretti Yachts 860 is a flybridge model with numerous features that the Italian builder says are unusual in this size range. There are sole-to-ceiling windows as well as glass fashion plates in the exterior design. Inside is a helical staircase that leads down below from the main deck, with an art deco influence in the styling. There are opening windows in both hullsides allowing for fresh air at anchor, and there are four staterooms, including an amidships master. Crew quarters are separate, with en suite double cabins. Base power is twin 2,000 hp MAN V-12s for a reported cruising speed of 27 knots and a top-end of 32 knots. A pair of 1,800 hp MANs is an option, as is a Seakeeper or Zero Speed system for stabilization.

Custom Line 140: A New Flagship

There’s good reason for the celebration that accompanied the recent launch of the Custom Line 140: It’s the largest yacht the Ferretti Group brand has ever built, and it now serves as the Custom Line flagship. According to the builder, the high-speed displacement hull allows for a top hop of 21.5 knots. Spaciousness is the theme inside, with a nearly 325-square-foot wide-body owners’ stateroom on the main deck. Owners can opt for an opening terrace here to add even more connection to the sea. Four additional guest staterooms are belowdecks, and there are separate quarters for seven crew. Custom Line is also touting the yacht’s level of “acoustic comfort,” with silenced engine-exhaust systems and machinery supports to reduce vibration.

Hinckley SilentJet: A Hybrid Power Upgrade

The Hinckley Company just introduced SilentJet, a hybrid power update to the Picnic Boat 40 S that allows the yacht to operate silently, including without a generator at anchor. The builder has been working on the idea since 2017, when it introduced the electric Dasher model. The Hinckley team worked with Twin Disc to develop the final concept and integrate it with the Hinckley JetStick control system. With the SilentJet system engaged on the Hinckley Picnic Boat 40 S, the company says, the boat can cruise at 7 knots for at least one hour and at 5.5 knots for as long as 90 minutes. Given that this is a hybrid system, there’s also diesel power available. In that mode, the same boat can reportedly achieve a top-end speed of 35 knots.

ISA Classic 65
Resilience is available for charter through Edmiston, with a lowest weekly base rate of about $611,000 for 12 guests. Courtesy ISA Yachts

ISA Classic 65: 212 Feet of Fun

Christened Resilience, the ISA Classic 65 has a steel hull, an aluminum superstructure and a gross tonnage of more than 1,400. There’s a full-beam master stateroom forward on the main deck, in addition to five more guest staterooms. Space can be converted to create a seventh guest stateroom if it’s needed. Aft, the transom door opens to sit flush with the swim platform, adding to the space from opening side doors to allow for more than 1,900 square feet of beach club. Features here include a gym, sauna, showers and massage room. Guests can access the rest of the yacht from here in three ways, including via a corridor that has an enclosed-glass space with views of the engine room and its MTU 12V powerplants.

Riva says that with optional MTU 16V 2000 M96Ls, this yacht can achieve a top speed of more than 28 knots. Courtesy Riva Yacht

Riva 102′ Corsaro Super: Top Speed of 28 knots

The Riva 102′ Corsaro Super is a successor to the 100′ Corsaro, which the builder says has been among its bestsellers in recent years. The 102′ has an updated design in the superstructure and hull, creating what Riva calls a contemporary sport concept. Aerodynamics were improved with the addition of glass fashion plates aft. For guest relaxation, gunwales swing out on each side of the main deck to create terraces with panoramic views. Accommodations are for 10 guests in five staterooms. The main deck’s primary living space can be ordered in one of two ways, depending on what owners want closest to the aft deck: a focus on dining with a table at the stern, or a focus on lounging aft that sees the dining space moved amidships.

Pursuit OS 445: Series Flagship

The OS 445 is the new flagship of Pursuit’s Offshore series and the largest boat the builder has ever produced. It’s made for fishing and family cruising alike. Anglers get transom and gunwale rod holders, a transom livewell, three fish boxes totaling 239 gallons, and a setup ready to install downriggers. For cruising, there are yacht-style bulwarks for secure passage to the foredeck seating area, as well as a galley-up design on the bridge deck for entertaining. Itineraries can include weekends on the hook, with a master stateroom that has a queen-size island berth, and a second stateroom for kids or guests. According to Pursuit, triple Yamaha F425 outboards produce a top-end speed above 42 knots, with a range of 349 nautical miles at 26 knots.

Princess Y85: Expanding the Range

Princess Yachts continues to expand its Y Class Motor Yacht range, which includes the Y72 and Y78. The new Y85 is the flagship until later this year, when the Y95 is scheduled to launch. For the Y85, the builder is offering owners various ways to spec out the onboard space. Up on the flybridge, owners can add an optional tender and crane for tender stowage, or replace the sun pad with a hot tub and free-standing furniture. Down in the cockpit, owners can choose a traditional U-shaped dining arrangement, a central table with free-standing furniture or the builder’s “infinity” layout with seating on an electrically sliding mechanism that helps to create more of a beach-club ambience in this part of the yacht.

Custom Line, part of the Ferretti Group, has launched its fourth yacht in three months.

In early April, the seventh hull of the Custom Line Navetta 30M hit the water. The 93-foot yacht, which has a 24-foot beam, is designed with indoor-outdoor living spaces that are meant to intersect on a continuum of design.

There’s extensive glazing in the hull and decks, and the headroom on board is more than 6½ feet.

The owner chose brushed teak for the furnishings, and the door and window frames, as a contrast to dark parquet. Minotti designed the furniture, and there are mosaic bathrooms. A study space on the sundeck has custom-made furniture and a sky bar.

Who designed the Custom Line Navetta 30? The yacht is a collaboration among the Ferretti Group Engineering Department, architect Filippo Salvetti for exteriors, and Antonio Citterio Patricia Viel for interior architecture in collaboration with Custom Line Atelier.
