Lürssen Yachts in Germany has launched Project Fiji, a 311-foot superyacht scheduled for delivery in 2019.

The contract to build Project Fiji was signed at the 2015 Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show. Moran Yacht & Ship represented the client and is supervising the build.

Project Fiji’s designer is Harrison Eidsgaard in London. The yacht’s 46-foot beam is expected to create substantial volume in the interior guest spaces.

Interior décor is by Laura Sessa, who calls it “contemporary modern.”

What we know about Project Fiji: As with so many superyachts, details are slim, but the yacht is expected to have a water-level beach club with spa and terrace, as well as something Lürssen calls a “walkable skylight” on the upper deck aft, along with a fireplace. The bow will have a helipad.
