Nicholson Yachts is promoting the 38-foot Lyman-Morse Skylark, which is for sale in Newport, Rhode Island. The asking price is $385,000.
Skylark is a custom build that launched in 2005. The designers are Chuck Paine and Mark Fitzgerald, who created the boat for what Nicholson Yacht s calls “a client who valued style and quality over speed” with “the finest custom details and furnishings.”
A refit in 2022-23 included stabilization fins, a new Garmin multifunction display, replacement of the fuel lines, new bottom paint and exterior varnish, and new window shades.
Cruising speed on the jet-powered boat is 15 knots with a top speed of 18.5 knots, according to Nicholson Yachts, which adds: “She is not a fast boat but is always the prettiest boat in any harbor she visits.”
