Azimut’s latest flybridge model is a midsize entry in a line of nine flybridge yachts from the Italian builder, ranging from 50 to 83 feet length overall. The Azimut 68 is 2 inches shy of 69 feet length overall and has a 17-foot-2-inch beam.

Three main-deck layouts are available: an enclosed, open or aft galley. In all three layouts, the helm station with two seats is to starboard, flanked by stairs on centerline that lead belowdecks. With the enclosed- and open-galley layouts, aft and to port is U-shaped seating. There’s a coffee table in the enclosed layout or a fixed dining table in the open layout. Moving aft and taking two steps down, there is face-to-face seating: L-shaped seating for at least six to starboard, as well as a portside sofa for four.

In the aft galley layout, the galley is moved down the two steps, aft and to port. A single sofa that can seat at least four replaces the galley abaft the helm station.

The yacht’s foredeck has a forward-facing sun pad and face-to-face seating with a coffee table aft. Sliding-glass doors separate the salon from the cockpit where there’s forward-facing C-shaped seating with a dining table and space for at least three movable chairs. Owners can host at least 11 here for alfresco meals with near-270-degree views at anchor.

Belowdecks, there is a four-stateroom, three-head layout. The setup includes a full-beam, amidships master stateroom with a walk-around king berth athwartships and to starboard with nightstands on each side. Forward of the berth and to port is a lounge. A closet and en suite head are aft.

The forepeak VIP stateroom has a queen berth. A twin-berth guest stateroom is to starboard, with a single-berth guest stateroom to port. The en suite head for the starboard-side stateroom also serves as the day head. The engine room abaft the master stateroom provides separation for the quarters for two crewmembers far aft.
