It should come as no great surprise that the Hunt 72 recently won “Best New Powerboat” at the 2016 Newport International Boat Show. Hunt is well established as a seaworthy, stylish and luxurious brand, and the 72 is right in line with her forbearers. Her deep-V hull delivers a smooth, dry and responsive ride in most any sea conditions the recreational boater might encounter. What’s more, she’s fast, with a sporty 32-knot cruise.

A three-stateroom layout down below ensures that everyone has enough space and privacy for longer jaunts, while a well-appointed cherry salon impresses guests as they enter the boat’s interior.

Up top, a flybridge has space for entertaining, as well as for a dinghy and hydraulic lift. You can also drive the boat from this deck. That’d be our choice, after all, what boater worth his salt doesn’t like the feel of the wind in his hair?
