Sabre Yachts says the first Sabre 58 Salon Express deck has been removed from the mold at its yard in Rockland, Maine. The boat is expected to debut later this year.
Design features on the 58 Salon Express are expected to include large windows and a main door that opens fully from port to starboard, merging exterior and interior spaces. An aft galley with two-burner electric cooktop, Wolf microwave oven and two Sub-Zero fridge and freezer drawers with ice maker, is spec’d across from additional stowage and counter space to starboard, one step from the salon.
Belowdecks, look for three en suite staterooms, including a full-beam master with a walk-around king-size berth.
The yacht has a modified-V hull form with 15 degrees transom deadrise and 24 degrees deadrise amidships. The foam-cored hull and stringer system is constructed via resin fusion with biaxial E-glass.
Standard power is twin 725 hp Volvo Penta IPS950 diesels with Volvo’s Interceptor trim tab system.
Some options for Sabre 58 Salon Express include a Seakeeper 16 gyrostabilizer, hydraulic swim platform, underwater lights, custom fabrics and countertops, central vacuum system, FreedomLift and storage system for tender and a teak cockpit sole.
What is the range of Salon Express models that Sabre offers? There are five versions: a 38, 42, 45, 48 and the flagship 58.
