Yachting Developments is a New Zealand-based boatbuilder that is putting together an absolutely mammoth sportfisher for one lucky owner. The convertible will be a whopping 127-feet long, and not only that, she’ll be constructed entirely out of super-strong, incredibly lightweight carbon fiber.
Hull 1015, as she is called, has just had her superstructure joined to her hull, and is in the final stages of construction. When she launches, the Michael Peters-designed project will be one of the largest recreational fishing boats of all time. She will in effect be an actual sea monster, especially considering the wallop her twin 3,140 hp MTU engines will pack.
This boat is scheduled to be delivered sometime in the third quarter of 2017, so keep an eye out for her anywhere people are catching big fish. After all, the quarry needs to match the steed.
