Iconic American builder Chris-Craft is making a splash in Miami in more ways than one.

The company is launching its Catalina 30 Pilothouse, a center-console-like boat that provides a bit more protection from the elements for its captain and passengers than a typical center console.

The boat also has plenty of seating including a sunpad up front and U-shaped seating aft. A dive door in the cockpit helps round out this cruiser’s versatility as either a primary boat or a tender. There’s even a cabin down below with a head and berth. You may end up using it mainly for stowage, but it’s also a good place to duck in for a nap.

The Catalina will come equipped with either Yamaha or Mercury outboards—twins of course—that will range up to 350 hp each. So we’d expect some rather thrill-inducing speeds out of her as well.

Catch her at the Miami International Boat Show from February 16-20.
