The Italian boatbuilder Riva has restyled its 76’ Bahamas Super, a model that debuted in 2016 and that now has new functions, updated spaces and improved stowage.
Officina Italiana Design, in partnership with the Piero Ferrari-led Ferretti Group Strategic Product Committee and the Ferretti Group Engineering Department, are responsible for the update.
The 76’ Bahamas Super is developed on the platform of the 76’ Perseo Super and aims to combine the feeling of open and coupe boats. Updates include additions to the sizable cockpit, where the sun pad’s armrests now have built-in panels to control lighting, the stereo and the stern door.
More new technology is at the helm, which has touchscreen displays. The steering system has been converted from hydraulic to Xenta electro-hydraulic for what Riva calls “better functionality while cruising.”
At the bow, the winch compartment now has two flaps instead of one for improved access. The yacht’s profile also has more glazing.
What changed inside the Riva 76’ Bahamas Super? There’s now a pullout wall shelf in the galley to increase work surface, and the galley door is now hinged instead of recessed, allowing for more stowage in the adjacent guest stateroom.
