Camper & Nicholsons International has listed the classic Feadship Cetacea for sale at an asking price of $8.49 million. The owner of the 1970 build will accept cryptocurrency as payment.
Cetacea, which also has been known as Queen of Diamonds and Alchemy throughout the years, has a classic exterior profile and an interior by Robin Rose & Associates. The yacht has undergone numerous refits, including a stern extension and the addition of a swim platform. The most extensive refit is believed to have been in 2014, at a cost of $8 million.
The current owner of Cetacea is the most recent commodore of the New York Yacht Club, according to the brokerage company. The yacht has frequently been seen at the head of that fleet. It also has a successful track record as a charter yacht.
Has Cetacea ever done long-distance cruising? Yes. The yacht completed a multiyear circumnavigation as well as a separate cruise to New Zealand and back to the United States.
