The Cannes Yachting Festival was in full swing from September 6 to 11 and Yachting was there. We spent seven busy days walking the docks and had a close encounter with the massive mega-yacht Ulysses, saw the Sanlorenzo 78 make an extravagant entrance, and even managed to fit in a sunset cruise aboard the Prestige 630.
With so many exciting announcements made prior to the show — like the debuts of the Outer Reef 620 Trident, the Ferretti 850, the Navetta 37 and the Arcadia 85S — the Cannes festival was highly anticipated.
The show had a record 630 boats on display, premiered 191 new models and had more than 51,000 people in attendance, the Cannes Yachting Festival website states. This show also marked the 10th anniversary of the Brokerage & Charter Area of the Cannes show.
We’re already looking forward to next year, as the Cannes Yachting Festival turns 40.
