The Princess Yachts 72 Motor Yacht has a layout with features for entertaining guests well, including a full-service bar. The hull is solid fiberglass that’s resin-infused and designed by Bernard Olesinski. Top speed with twin 1,600 hp Caterpillar C32A diesels is 36.7 knots. Belowdecks, the 72 Motor Yacht has four staterooms, including a full-beam master, a forward stateroom with a queen berth and two twin-berth guest staterooms that can convert to doubles. At press time, there were four 72 Motor Yachts available, ranging from $1,972,713 to $2,349,900.

“Other than fussing with oddly shaped hull windows, Euro stylists seem to expend most of their passion on the superstructure—ergo, overdone. This is not the case with the 72. Her softly raked house/bridge face and cantilevered overhang are well-proportioned, and she is not cluttered with winglets or foolish faux vents. The segmented house-side window design is sufficiently interesting without being busy or confusing to the eye.”
