Denison Yachting sends word that the 100-foot Hatteras Supernova now has an asking price of $2,950,000, representing a reduction of $445,000 from the previous figure.

Supernova is a 2003 build with what Denison calls “extensive mechanical and aesthetic upgrades” done in 2014. That work included new Awlgrip paint, a refaired radar arch, new antennas, the addition of a 24-inch propane grill, new LED lighting on the nameplate, the addition of external and engine-room cameras, replacement of some teak decking, the addition of a new Stidd chair on the flybridge, a size upgrade in stabilizer fins, a new Sailorman satellite phone, and a new ice maker at the bar.

Four guest staterooms, including an amidships full-beam master on the lower deck, and six heads are on board. Crew quarters are aft.

In the engine room are a pair of 1,800-horsepower MTU M91s showing 2,758 hours. At the helm are electronics from Furuno, Garmin and Nobeltec. The gyrocompass is by Simrad. Wing control stations are to port and starboard on the flybridge.

Where is Supernova lying? She’s in Fort Lauderdale.
